Dr. Jason Doucette has been elected president of the Nevada Dental Association (NDA), the state’s doctors of dentistry and oral-health professionals organization. The NDA provides services that promote the highest standards of care for patients and professional excellence through education, leadership, and provider and patient advocacy.

"I am honored and humbled to take on this most meaningful role at the NDA, an organization which exemplifies ethics and standards of dentistry," said Dr. Doucette. “I’m excited to help lead the association to better help our member dentists succeed and unify Nevada’s oral-health professionals.”

Dr. Doucette was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1995, Dr. Doucette went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1999. Dr. Doucette returned to Reno shortly after to begin his career in dentistry. As one of Nevada’s leading doctors of dentistry, Dr. Doucette has practiced dentistry for nearly 23 years. Doucette succeeds Dr. Ed De Andrade, a Las Vegas based specialist in periodontics and dental implantology, whose term as NDA president ended on June 30.
